ProMetabolic ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the ProMetabolic mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use our app:

Account information: Your email address and user ID, used to create and manage your account.
User-generated content: Coach conversation messages, food checker queries, meal plan preferences, and temperature logs you enter into the app.
Subscription and purchase information: Whether you hold an active Pro subscription, processed via Apple's in-app purchase system and RevenueCat.
Usage data: Feature usage such as number of coach questions asked, food checks performed, and meal plans generated — used to enforce free-tier limits and improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and operate the ProMetabolic app and its features
Authenticate your account and maintain your session
Personalise your experience (e.g. displaying your name on the dashboard)
Enforce free-tier usage limits and manage Pro subscriptions
Send optional push notifications with daily wellness tips (only with your permission)
Improve and develop the app based on usage patterns

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We use Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure you can only access your own data.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase — database and authentication (privacy policy)
RevenueCat — subscription management (privacy policy)
Apple In-App Purchases — payment processing (Apple handles all payment data; we never see your card details)
Make.com — webhook automation for AI-powered features (privacy policy)
OpenAI — powers the AI Coach responses (privacy policy)

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and conversation history will be permanently deleted within 30 days. You can request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@prometabolic.io.

6. Push Notifications

With your permission, we send daily pro-metabolic tip notifications. You can disable these at any time in your device's notification settings or within the app under Settings.

7. Children's Privacy

ProMetabolic is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict processing of your data
Data portability

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), database-level row security, and secure authentication tokens. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
